The successful applicant will be tasked to:
A. SA Engineering & Provisioning: engineer SA-related solutions; install and configure systems; develop and maintain system standards; research and recommend innovations to system administration tasks such as automated approaches; and research and procure necessary hardware, equipment and tools as needed.
B. Operations & Support: conduct daily monitoring and review of systems; perform complete and successful backup operations; perform regular file archival and purge as necessary; and repair/recover from hardware or software failures; investigate possible causes of software/hardware failure and provide a report; provide field support on clients as needed; and provide 24/7 in-office and on-call support.
C. Maintenance: apply OS patches and upgrades regularly; upgrade administrative tools and utilities; configure/add new services and system software as necessary; perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades and resource optimization as required; maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment; maintain online and offline accounts and services; and review system configurations and scripts.
